From flan ube cheesecakes to creamy ice creams that make your heart sing, the flavor profiles here are nothing short of delightful.

  • Flanana Pudding: A standout treat, and as customer Katrina M. notes, it's "so creamy and flavorful." The perfect balance of sweetness makes it a must-try.
  • Ube Flan Cheesecake Tarts: Ling J. raves about their richness and decadent nature, echoing the sentiments of many patrons who regard them as the ultimate dessert paired with tea.
  • Ice Cream Delights: With flavors like Ube Pandan Crunch and Kare Almond Fudge, these scoops provide a refreshing experience, but be warned—the cones can get messy during those sunny SF days!

Every dish at Spark Social SF encapsulates warmth and creativity. Patrons like Jiamei L. describe their experience as worth the wait, a testament to the truck's popularity at local events. The rich flavors ensure that you leave with a smile, as witnessed by guests who can’t resist coming back for more.

Moreover, the ambience here is contagious, with families enjoying sweet creations like rice krispy treat ice cream sandwiches, and friends bonding over pints of Ube Flan Chunk Ice Cream. Each treat feels like a special moment shared, making it not just about food but memorable experiences. As Breanna N. points out, the desserts are perfect accompaniments to tea or coffee, ensuring you can savor them at any time of the day.

Finally, it's important to note that Spark Social SF thrives on community and passion. It embodies a playful spirit, inviting everyone to "treat yourself" to something special, as Corinne C. beautifully puts it. So good! Tried multiple treats here! My favorite is the flanana pudding! So creamy and flavorful! Parking can be a little hard in this area sometimes.

I saw Marley's truck when it was at OMCA on Friday evening, and decided to try their ice cream; they sold one scoop in a cup for $5 or up to two flavors in a waffle cone for $7, so I opted for the latter and picked the kare almond fudge and ube as flavors. The kare almond fudge has toffee or something coffee-flavored in it, I'm not a fan of coffee usually but I thought it was still yummy overall. I really liked the ube, that flavor came through really strongly. The main downside was that the bottom of the cone probably wasn't sealed properly, and since it was hot outside, the cone quickly started dripping ice cream out of the bottom, so it ended up being messier to eat.

The flan ube cheesecake tart is amazing!! Decadent, rich, and perfect to have with a cup of tea at the end of the day. My partner HATES sweets & after convincing him to try a little, he said "it's very pleasant" and took another bite!! Flanana is also super yummy - not too heavy, creamy, and there's little chunks of banana. It's also the perfect amount of sweet & decadent. Can't wait to come back!!

Stumbled upon their truck at a cultural fair in SF Yerba Buena. Their truck was very popular and had a long line, but it was worth the wait. My friend and I ordered the ube pandan crunch ice cream. I got it in a cone. The flavor was delicious and the price was extremely affordable too! The crunchy bits were so fun. I really enjoyed the ice cream and highly recommend to everyone!

I was excited to see the truck! Knew we had to stop by after lunch. We ordered: - Ube Cupcake - Pandan Cupcake - Flan Cheesecakes - Ube Flandesal The Pandan Cupcake was okay, didn't really taste the pandan flavor since the frosting was a little overpowering it. Similarly, the Ube Flandesal had an interesting taste and texture. I recommend both the Ube Cupcake and Flan Cheesecake! The flan was delicious even by itself. Wished we got more!! Overall, I'd come back! The treats weren't too sweet and would be great with some tea or coffee.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! O R D E R E D - Red and Gold V E R D I C T As soon as I saw the picture for the red and gold, i couldn't resist not ordering it. Their red and gold is mocha ice cream with red velvet cake mixed inside and flan. If that doesn't sound delicious to you, then I don't know what does. I am a huge ice cream cake fan, so to have cake inside ice cream, WOW! The flavor was perfect, I think I would've wanted a little less flan, but that's only cause i love cake more. On a sunny day, you gotta give this a try!

Came by on a sunny Sunday during lunch at Spark Social. AMAZING treat yo'self desserts. Got the kids a rice krispy treat ice cream sandwich ($7) to share - two round ube rice krispy rounds (can't really taste the ube but it's beautifully purple) with a big scoop of ice cream smooshed between. Not bad for sharing between two kids because I could pry the two halves apart and smear the ice cream on each one like an open face sandwich! Not one but two ube flavors - an ube flan and ube pandan. Not for the ube purist but I loved there were two options. The ube flan is SO GOOD but it's SO rich. It's ube ice cream swirled with chunks of leche flan - really creamy and rich flan. I'd want to get a pint of just ube flan ice cream! I wanted to try the ube cheesecake tarts but you have to get it as a 4 or 6 pack ($20 or $30). Heck, why not, I thought - 4 pack it is, because I can stash them in the fridge. I'm glad I did because they're really rich and good. Bottom of tart is a tender shortbread-like crust, on the thin side. Next is a very purpley ube cheesecake, and then a perfect round of creamy flan on top. Like the ube flan ice cream, it's all very rich and very decadent and I am HERE for it. Next time - getting more ube flan cheesecake for home, and trying some other ice cream flavors!

You can not go wrong with Marley's! I can always count on their yummy desserts to satisfy my Ube or Buko cravings. Primarily Ube for sure hehe. Whenever we don't have the energy to drive out to their brick and mortar location in Hayward, we try to catch the trucks on time. Honestly, it's the Ube Flan Cheesecakes for me!!! I can literally eat 3 of these in 1 day. Guilty, but that's to show how yummy it is. Typing this is already making me crave some :(

When I was growing up, the standard dessert flavors were chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla (and they still are). It didn't matter if it was milkshakes, cupcakes, or ice cream, you could always count on these three (or some variation of them). Then you had flavors that weren't so readily available and were just amazed to find: flavors like coconut or lychee or ube, etc. These desserts were special since not everyone knew how good they really were and moreover, you had to really be in the the know to tell if the dessert really captured the flavor they were advertising. But times are different now and more and more people are aware of, or at least willing to try, different dessert flavors. I mean you can probably find a coconut cupcake filled with lychee cream and topped with an ube whipped cream if you tried hard enough. The thing is how good are these desserts at delivering the flavor profiles I fondly remember growing up? Marley's Treats does an amazing job of doing exactly that. The Oreo Ube cupcake killed it. The ube cupcake was moist and ube-y. Oreo topping give it a textural crunch and the two flavors compliment each other. I also tried the lychee strawberry cupcake. Fantastic. Strawberry cake coupled with hints of lychee from the frosting was a surprising nice and refreshing combo. I had heard a lot of good things about their desserts before (mostly from my sister) but now that I've tried it for myself, I'm more inclined to go back try more. So if you're so inclined / curious about Marley's Treats, I say, Go for it.
